When I build a pond I like to build something living rather than a puddle on a rock. This means it gets a little dirty, but it’s packed front to back with beautiful native Ontario plants. From the hornwort at the bottom, filtering the water, to the lily floating above, to the cattails and irises all around – our ponds are designed to remind you of the lake at your grandpa’s summer house if it was smaller and in your backyard.
